Another New Member
Hi all.
Recently purchased an 'average' C90 which appears to be an 'F' series but first registered in November 1988. More about that later in a specific post.
I live in West Midlands near Worcester and have been a Honda devotee since buying my new gold/white CB175 in 1970. Later upgraded to the CB750 K1 then years later had a new VF750.
Other than my C90 (which any Honda devotee should have) I currently have a 1985 VF1000R (F Series), 2004 Fireblade, 2011 Fireblade, and 2018 Fireblade SP2. Completing the collection is my 2007 MV Agusta F41000R.
I am active on other forums and have joined this for like-minded camaraderie and updating my knowledge of this very important motorcycle in Honda's history.

Yep, it's my retirement fund. Funny thing is, the field must be restricted to 100 characters or so. It wouldn't allow me to include my prize 2007 MV Agusta F4 1000R, which is the sort of bike that no matter what brand you're aligned to, you just have to love the F4.
But back to Cub talk . . . I got mine for a reasonable price off ebay. Needs some 'fine-tuning' work such as front guard (only because of a small crack) a heap of new bolts because some of the originals are surface blemished and I might polish the crankcases which at present have been painted silver in the style of 'lets make it nice to sell it' fashion!! It's an 'F' Reg with 17,000 miles - but without good previous owner detail, one would never read the mileage as gospel.

You can check the mileage on the MOT site.Check out Wemoto for body parts .Is it a fast red one or the other ?

Thanks. Have MOT back to 2006 which does substantiate current mileage. However, we can never be sure the speedo/odometer hasn't been changed earlier in its life. It's a bit like meeting a new woman - you think she's really young and later find out she's gelled up with Botox!
It's the fast one alright. Would be even faster if I painted it in HRC colours - but I'm a p-u-r-i-s-t.
Cheers for the Wemoto tip!
(Something wrong with the 'naughty word censor' on this forum. It wouldn't let me post the word '****' without hyphens.)

Was a good bike. Agreed. Family duties kept me away from bikes from then, so I never became aware of camshaft problems. Selling it might have been a saving grace then!
