Help request NEWBIE mistake

Post by russters » Sun Mar 11, 2018 12:58 pm

Hi , First of all my name is Russ and I bought a c90 the other day, when bought it had already been stripped to the bare essentials, I believe it is a 1968 c90 or CT 90 its a 6v 89 cc frame number starts c90 EB 018 ..... if this makes any sense, I'm a total novice when it comes to things like this.

Anyway the issue I have is the bike was running but a little lumpy so while the engine was running I wiggled some of the very dodgy wires and it ran very smoothly for a second then stopped running and now won't start is there a basic wiring diagram available which will help me re-wire the whole thing properly or a wiring harness that can be purchased, think it was the reg/rec that the wires are attached to, the bike has no lights or indicators so wiring is mega basic but there are joins everywhere.

There are a couple of links on this site to a Workshop manual that has the wiring diagrams included.
Just go to the Workshop then club guides then manuals section on this site.
The one at the bottom S90,CL90L,C90 ,CL90,CT90,CD90 manual seems to still be working.
As with all links they come and go.
If you cant negotiate this site heres the link to the link :D

Thanks very much for the help, got everything up and running now, have come up against a few problems but nothing too bad so far,
ran out of fuel right next to a petrol station and the throttle grip came loose first time i got wet.
