hello all,
new to the forum and the c90 but not new to motorcycling. had my first bike in 1979. a honda cb125. had about 15 bikes since then all Japanese until i bought one of my current bikes. a bmw r 1150 gs. had it for about 5 years but don't use it much. if i had to pick a favourite bike i have owned it would come down to either my vfr750 or ntv 650. both fabulous bikes.
i recently bought a c90 as i have always wanted one but never ridden one before last week.
picked it up in my trailer so first time i rode it was to the mot station about 7 miles away. was a bit of an experience i can tell you. 3 gears and all down took a while to get used to.
anyway a 20 year old bike and been off the road for two years and passed the mot with no advisories.not many bikes can do that.
joined the forum to ask a few questions as i intend to do as much of the maintenance as i can myself.
always taken my bikes to my local bike shop before now as i just like riding, not much of a hands on guy, although i have managed a oil change, filter, plug and battery change on my bmw
anyway glad to be here and ready to start learning.
cheers
chris
