Aal-Reet,
I'm Sean, from Gateshead and exited to be looking for my first C90!
Been in love with biking for years and had a lot of bigger bikes in the past, frankly amazed to be still alive and still have my licence actually, but after tinkering with a friends scooter decided that they just make too much sense not to have :)
So here I am, looking for a C90 for general pottering about locally, tinkering with, and the odd offroad trip heh heh.
Cheers,
Sean

Welcome to the club as you say you can use the cub for pottering about or go on a world tour 8-) .Buy the best you can and a 12 volt model is easier to live with.

Ta for the nice welcome fellas. The World tour will have to wait till the kids are independent unfortunately ha ha.
Are the 12volt ones all younger than 1982 in the UK, or did I pick that up from some international spec? And is it just a case of poor lights with the 6v ones, or is there more to their inconvenience?

The lights are crap on all of them. Oh and the brakes. They don't go very fast either and they're prone to rot on the back end. The front fork bushes are not brilliant and the tank size is rubbish. Apart from that they are ace.

Bogger..definitely go for a 12v one

....The early 12 volters 1982 -1985 kept the all metal frame, introduced an integrated tank, kept the metal "handlebars" and best of all, ................. the round headlight.
