I purchased a C90 2 months ago with 5000 miles on the clock and it is in really good condition. The trouble is that it keeps letting me down. I have returned it 3 times to the seller (a main dealer) and they have tried to find the fault but cannot find anything wrong with it. It will work fine for a few days, and then quite randomly stop and refuse to start again. We have replaced the plug, reset the points, flushed out the tank and carb. Any suggestions from anyone. . or a recommendation of a specialist who may help?

Remove the legshields and ensure the bulleted connectors rising from the engine to the loom are good and clean. They are often the cause of such problems.

Apparently the ignition switch can cause problem as well, though never had the problem myself.

The 6 volt bikes need a good battery to run .If it dies when you switch on some thing like the indicators that will be the answer.
