So with a Goal of being on the road and popping along to the Southern Softies meet in August.

110 Lifan Engine and 4spd semi auto box ordered from Pitbike Spares.

(My C90 came with a new 100link chain and 15/39 sprockets) but looks like I may need a 16/17t front sprocket and 102link chain.
I will check when the parts arrive.

Thank you, the triple S chain was only 98 link, so I have ordered a longer DiD chain.

I’m struggling to find a 420pitch 16t Sprocket to suit the 17mm diameter spline on the 110lifan engine that isn’t from China. Pitbike Shop had sold out, along with many other places.

I can see some options listed for the C90, but the bike is 17miles away so I cannot check the diameter of the stock engine shaft.

I am also hoping the new engine will work ok with the stock OEM C90 manifold/airbox/carb/exhaust.
As I’ve seen many others having issues.

The lifan uses the same size sprockets as the C90 and the standard carb and exhaust work well with it. The ones who have trouble are probably using some other carb exhaust set up.
Th softies do is more of a weekend ,I will be at Kite hill on the Friday...must book it :? and need to get on to Red Funnel for a discount code.

Edit to add Did I mention Wemoto for parts inc sprockets ;)

Thanks Terry, ordered last night using your link. Dispatched today.

110 Lifan has just arrived :D
:o surprised that the next day delivery was on time to the Isle of Wight!!!

Busy weekend ahead means I might not get time to work on the swap for a while though.

Lifan swap is quite straight forword, the only tricky bit (if youve never done it before) is swaping over the Clutch cover for the Honda one so the Pegs will fit (you can reuse the lifan clutch cover gasket on the honda cover, dont forget you will need an Exhaust gasket though, one like this will do it.

Thank you.

I have been reading those guides.
The covers on my C90E are tired and tatty, so it will actually be easier for us to cut/modify/weld the foot peg mount and keep the nice new Lifan covers 👍

Loads of options, including a choice of JT sprockets or Sunstar sprockets.
