The bike frame is a 1989 model
The engine i bought off of ebay last night on a whim for £50.
I take it that the engine will not fit the frame is this correct ?
If that engine say c90e. then no its a old crap 6v model,

Alan CF wrote:can you post a picture of the underside of the frame, so we can inspect the welding on the joints to see if its a kepspeed. replacement frame
Frame looks to be Honda as both the riders and kepspeed frames have a straight headstock tube and not the stepped out bit as on a Honda frame.

Looks cool but lose the seat they are quite heavy and weight is everything with a plop racer ,ours is 9mm ply with 30mm foam on top and covered fixed solid with a cut out for the fuel cap ,your location says matlock ,I'm Sheffield and call every couple of weeks for a cup of tea

Do you have a set of the rules for parts that have to stay on the bike.

hi alan thanks
Yes i have seen the rules apart from this bit which is defferent to the one i have seen.
Payment:
Race entry fee is £300 per team, this includes transponder hire is £30 per bike (deduct as necessary). Additionally a £10 SD Armada MCC annual membership fee for each entrant is required. (Please see separate entry forms). All cheques to be made payable to S&D Armada MCC
we where hoping to go the c90 option but engines seem to be a stumbling block.
so maybe we can get hold of a chinese 110 engine and go for the open class
