Another new member
Hello all. I have just collected a 1986 C90G "Economy" that has been stood for around six years.
Thought I should do myself a favour and join this forum - it seems to be very active, and friendly.
I am not new to restoration, having restored BMW boxers and "Flying Bricks", a CX500 Turbo, a Honda ST1100 Pan and currently underway with a Suzuki GT250 and a Yamaha RD250 air cooled. Waiting in the wings is a Honda CBX550. Needless to say, I can't bring myself to pass them on and my wife thinks I'm barking mad!
I'm looking forward to retiring next year to give me time to do more, but just for fun.
I did have a Yamaha Townmate which I enjoyed, but in a rush of blood to the head, I sold it, and missed it straight away. That was about 3 or 4 years ago now.
Last Thursday a colleague told me of another co-worker who had a honda step through laying about doing nothing. When I approached him he jumped at the chance to pass it on as his wife was giving him grief about it (poor chap). Anyway, Here it is, he let me have it for £70!!!!!!!!

I'm an ex "Scouser" but in my 61 years I have moved about a bit. Now living (for past 25+ years) in Derby (UK)
Will post more Pics of my other bikes. Is this the correct part of the forum for this?

I was never into footie to the extent that I aligned myself to a club. Put off football by a dick of a PE teacher at school.
Did enjoy seeing England beat Sweden the other night though!

I must confess to feeling a bit smug.
I have seen some of the pics of rotted rear ends, so I took the seat and tank off to look inside the frame:
Looks amazing to me. I found out today it was last taxed in June 1992!
