new in north east

Post by flatoutintop » Fri Jan 20, 2017 3:16 pm

hi folks
just bought my self a Cub 90 12v after much searching. its a bit of a rotter, missing loads of parts, various bits seized up, horrible repaint job, you know the type! taken a gamble on it as there was no V5, so ive applied to the dvla for one, fingers crossed its a genuine barn find! will no doubt be on here for various parts in the near future, in the meantime its nearly down to a bare frame for a blast and re-spray, then hope the engine fires up now its back in one piece (it wasnt!). having lots of fun working on it anyway, tinkering at its best! :D
look forward to getting it out on the road in a month or so all being well

Sorry it won't let me add my pics, file too large? It was the nice red colour, but has been resprayed/brushed a darker maroon...badly! Seized stand and rear mudguard, no lights or indicators, cracked plastics, missing lots of other bits! Need to find a good sandblaster in north east now. Work in progress :-)

Hi welcome to the site. to post photos look at the guide above these posts , they have to be hosted elsewhere some where like photobucket. ;)
Check the bike is not stolen before you go spending too much though once you have a V5 it will be worth it.

just need to find some foot pegs, indicators, mirrors, chain guard and a fuel cap and she'll be nearly there
