Been and watched your vids over at youtube
Had the same thing happen with Ze Germans everytime i go up there, mostly tour buses, but you do keep bumping into the same faces.
Nice to see the full touring trim, that's roughly the mental image i have in my head of how i would set up, but with less luggage
From doing the western highlands in a car and enjoying being there and not racing around, i was mostly pootling about at 30-40mph, pull over to let others pass, and be aware of fuel range, the major downside to being in a car is the wild camping aspect as it's much harder to safely get a car off the road and get away from others. You can pretty much get anywhere on a bike.
Cracking adventure.
I reccomend Orkney if you can get back up there again, going around Scarpa Flow is spooky with all the old watch towers and remains of the blockade ships that where sunk in the narrows.
