Couriers DO charge more, so when I sell heavy items I use the Royal Mail to send out........
Same problem with Northern Ireland.
Southern Ireland is INTERNATIONAL & is expensive with Royal Mail or couriers.

its always funny when they insist it costs more to royal mail a package to the IOM, it wasn't that long that I posted a pair of triumph spitfire doors for about £40! so i'm buggered if i'm paying over the odds to received stuff.

If the destination has a UK postcode , its a UK destination , & they are BLATANTLY ripping the customer off !

I know that couriers charge more, BUT if you insist on them sending by Royal Mail, they CANT charge more !

At last the rack has arrived;

Not just any rack;

But the veritable Optimus Prime of racks!

Ok that’s the only transformation it does but at least now I can load luggage and still get to the fuel cap!

And finally with panniers fitted;

All I’m waiting on now is the actual sleeping bag and some Gore-Tex army boots and that’s me pretty much set!

so far so good, tyres dont interfere anywhere so that's another job done, using nothing but the safest techniques I tested the front clearance by heavy braking from speed while leaning forward and the back by putting two van batteries on the back while rolling down the street and bouncing up and down.

yeah, it did'nt look too happy fully open, hence the bit of sting that stops it opening too far!

Also like your rack. Can you put any more info or link as to supplier or price. Be much appreciated as i've seen similer on pizza bikes that have big boxes but never been able to find one. Very frustrated :(

Be glad of info and pics on your screen and fitting when it arrives.

Thanks in advance.
