Great report Bill, thoroughly enjoyed reading it. As I bottled out of going this year, it was nice to visit vicariously, as it were.

(Glad I stayed at home now though, as my surprise 40th was a great night!)

As it happened, Newt didn't go either in the end, so no harm done. Next year perhaps, eh Newt? ;) :D

Great read Bill, been looking forward to it and it hasn't disappointed! :D :D :D :D
The thought of brewing up piss in the morning made me laugh! Didn't the locals come aroung with their mugs on clips for some of the Mad Manxman's curious beverage?
I used an old oil bottle, black so the contents aren't seen, wide top. And kept it in the sleeping bag so it didn't freeze. ;)
I thought I told you about the toilets outside?   Well worth the euro!
And the hay goes under the tent!
I was moping about all weekend wishing I was there, should have gone really for what I achieved here!

Thanks for the write up, very well done, your comment about it being daunting on your todd isn't wasted on me. ;)

You're the Man! Well done Bill! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

The Primus looks like a much smaller, far more intimate rally, and there seems to be very few details available about it. Very friendly from what I've read.

If we could get the commercial ferry over to Norway (BCP says they will often allow a few non-commercial vehicles on), then it wouldn't be too long a run. I like the idea though, Newt, provided we could manage to organise the details without too much hassle.
