big trip
im plannin a trip next weekend from liverpool to lincolnshire its not for charity or anythin im goin visitin a self sufficient community ive volunteered to help in the building side of things hopefully i might end up livin there so i was just after a bit of advice for a long trip what to take, also if anyones interested in livin off the grid pm me for details

My first tip..
TAKE your time.
A nice steady run 40 - 45, excellent for seeing all of the countryside around you.
Change the oil
Check your tyre pressures
Check your spokes & brakes
Plan a route avoiding FAST main roads ?
Collect wet weather gear
before you go

i was gona change the oil but i checked it and its still clear should i change it again? its got brand new tyres on still got the little rubber thingys on im gona change the plug coz i can hear a misfire most of all im covered by the aa just want to get everythin rite im gona take him out for a little ride on saturday and see what happens

OK if its clear.
Make sure the levels ok.
with the dipstick undone & resting on the threads, oil should be to top of the hatched area...
New tyres take about 100 miles to scrub in , so avoid heavy braking , unless needed for this distance...
