Thanks for the advice and kind wishes all.
We're steadily making our way through France, trying to avoid the suicidal lorry drivers!

We've made it to Andorra without blowing up which is promising. These mountain roads are slow going though!

Barcelona now!
1,300km done so time for an oil change and general once over tomorrow. Got some 15-40w mineral oil from the supermarket which'll do nicely.
Friday morning we set sail for Tangier. 32h crossing.
Top tip for anyone thinking of riding a fully loaded c90 through Barcelona in heavy traffic: Don't.

Third time I've been here in three months, in a cruel twist of fate. And second time on this chinese cub! Not been robbed yet, but lots of women wearing not a lot. Dangerous!Diesel Dave wrote:Watch out for pickpockets too....

We've made it to Tan Tan, should be crossing over into the Western Sahara in a day or two.
Then it's Mauritania, Senegal and Mali. Mauritania and Mali visas in hand, got to get Senegalese one in Mauritania.
Think it's time for a tyre change tomorrow, the ME22 on the rear has just about had it, after two 8 hour endurance races around Mallory and Anglesey, then commuting for a few months, the 1700 miles down to here have killed it a bit...! I have a Conti-Go to replace it which should last a bit better though. I could probably eek another thousand out of it, but I'd rather change it whilst I have the time and environment to do so...
