Shocking lack of preventative maintenance... :D

Do you carry a tyre plugging kit Dave?

I have one of those 'Stop-n-Go' kits on the Foresight, but have never had to use it yet.

Clutch cable was a damaged adjuster on the handlebar I tightened it a bit two days in and there was a sharp dammaged edge that frayed the inner

Tyre plugging I carry two kits a stop and go that I never even tried out and a Weldtite kit with wedges that I added sticky string to !
Slow was a pain as there noting to see in the tyre ! It had been off twice last week looking for the problem and a very small nail removed and plugged (internal mushroom ) new valve and bead sealer but must have inner liner damage so new tyre will go on

All made much worse by my 12v pump failing again this time terminal as the crank pin is broken

Decision time
Now do I just carry co2 or get another pump Also have a hand pump but it a bit too much to pump a 130 70 17 !

There used to be a CO2 extinguisher that could be used for blowing up tyres as well, it was popular with the rally boys; about the size of a Sodastream canister.

It looks a nice route. Did you use satnav?

No Sat Nav
I use maps + Android tablet with OS mapping (Anquet)
I played around with SatNave and GPS for 12/15 years never found anything that I really like Current project is to find a unit that will allow me to use the Anquet maps but just moving map no routing

Looks like a Tablet/phone in the tank bag but I will keep looking
