Footrests & sidestand for C90 electric start
The footrests are a bit wider than standard kickstart models I believe.
Any condition would be fine. WHY?

You can still find the original footrest and side stand parts with Honda. I just had 2 sets delivered. Had issues with pattern parts when it comes to E-Starts. The kickstart aftermarket parts were okay.Floatything wrote: ↑Thu Oct 27, 2022 11:25 pmThe footrests are a bit wider than standard kickstart models I believe.

Hi George, are you still able to get these, I’d like to know as looking at later c90s and they don’t have side stands. Thank you, also how much? Or could I order myself from Honda?

Think you have to go back to mid / late 80s which are C90 -‘G’s.
The earlier ones were standard then they put a rubber ‘finger’ on the ‘G’s (to try to make it flip up if left down) and then discontinued them on the ‘P’s.
I think I’ve got that about right?
The euro laws etc meant you had to have a cut out switch on the side stand. Don’t suppose they wanted to change the loom or sort a switch etc?
Anyway, have a look at ‘G’s….. 1986, 88, 90 etc.
Cheers Andy.

Indeed captain, yours on a '92 may be at the tail end of them. The later ones (probably '93 / '94 onwards??) didn't even have the tang with the bolt hole, so you couldn't even fit one without welding a bracket piece on.
All mine have side stands, but that's because I've fitted footrest bars from earlier models to my later models..... painted and straightened etc.
Hope this helps.
Cheers Andy.

Re: Footrests & sidestand for C90 electric start
I emailed some dealers and no stock, so need a seemingly very rare foot peg and side stand for a M (electric) model, there most be some out there if anyone heard of any please
EBay has lots of non genuine for kickstart only, won’t fit electric though

Re: Footrests & sidestand for C90 electric start
I've had mine quite a few years now.
There used to be quite a few local bike breakers near me..... all gone now.
You could go in at anytime and find 10 to 15 cubs of various ages and in various states or bits. You could pretty much get anything..... and cheap.
Suzuki FR stepthrus, V50s, and 90s... just loads.
You could pick a runner up for £30 to £50.
Obsolutely crazy to think back now and how much they are now!
The kickers were always more common than the electric starters 'M' models. So the longer footpeg bars are less common.
Good luck in your hunting.
Andy.
