have a 12volt 1982 chaly but in need of a fuel tap has any one got one or know were I can get one from

silvers, as i have just fitted a new tap for a chap on his chaly that is residing in my shed at the moment. he also bought the plastic lever.

6v and 12v taps are not the same.
This is the 12v type,6v has a flange that has two screws to fit it to the tank.

Sorry Barks, I didn't read your post properly. :roll: Have you tried Silvers(like AlanCF said) or try this link below. There are loads on ebay, but be sure to measure the thread on your petrol tank to get the correct size. Had a play with some bits in the garage today and found that the tap from a TL125 fits.

Only problem is the outlet is on the other side and the tap bits are riveted same as the CF70 one,but its a start as have drilled the plate off before and drilled and tapped them. Think the thread size is 14mm.
