Daelim citi 100 or Honda Dream 100
Does anybody know of anywhere in the UK that sells either of these bikes?
OR
Is there any way of importing them from Asia to the UK?
I love these bikes so much I don't care how much it costs.

Devestating, you know what they say, its better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all .jamescub wrote:I had one,got it from a bloke who's friend had imported it from Thailand or Vietnam. Fantastic little bike with proper forks/4 speed/good turn of speed would sit at indicated 100kmph(sat nav showed 60mph) sold it...big mistake
So you say your mate imported it from Thailand/Vietnam? Any idea how he went about that?

No it was a mate of the guy I bought it from who imported it. I found it by chance chatting to someone about cubs,he had the dream in his garden sat out and unused for several years,I took it off him for £20!! It just took a bit of cleaning up/wire brushing but it did scrub up well...he she is pre clean up... Would love another or one of those Daelim citi ace things...

Yeah the Daelims are cool too, I've seen a couple of those on eBay but nowhere near as many as c90's.
I'm racking my brain trying to think of a way to get one here.
I'm sure it's possible to ship them from Vietnam/Thailand I bets its expensive too.
I'm gonna do some googling.

Yeah, there must be milions of the things over in Asia. Imports from the USA were popular a few years ago and what about all those 'grey import' bikes that we got from Japan in huge numbers back in the early 90's exotic bikes that were never available to the UK. Must be able to get stuff over from Asia...

There are, I was over in Vietnam recently and almost everyone rides one of these (and if not they're on a cub of some sort or a copy).
I saw an ad on craigslist Vietnam for a Dream for $250 but not sure what the shipping cost would be from there.
I have found one place that seems to be selling the citi 100 in uk but the website seems really old.
I'm gonna give them a ring and see whats what but heres the link

I suspect that site is most likely dead/out of date - those haven't been sold in the UK for many a year. The later model that looks like this:Slugsy123 wrote:I have found one place that seems to be selling the citi 100 in uk but the website seems really old.
is widely available though.
I do like this sort of thing very much myself... this is my Comel, a Malaysian copy of the Dream 100
