C50LAC Engine Parts Wanted
Is anyone out there breaking a c50LAC engine? I am in need of bolts to hold it together as spare parts don't usually come with bolts! I need casing bolts, stator fixing screws, basically a job lot of bolts and screws would be great if anyone is breaking one. I could also do with a carburettor for the C50LAC.
Cheers!

Re: C50LAC Engine Parts Wanted
I've still got mine sat on the shelf, carb and all.
If you give me a list (+pics) I should be able to sort you out.

Re: C50LAC Engine Parts Wanted
Right got some photos together, lets hope this works! DO you know if the exhaust studs are removable? one of mine is not present and does not seem to be snapped inside the hole.
Photo 1: I need the other 2 bolts for the cam chain pulley as the other 2 are long gone!
Photo 2: This is the bolt that goes through the top hole in the picture, just above the lower engine mount. It is one that holds the 2 crank cases together.
Photo 3: Right, how to explain this one... I need the 2 lower bolts that are missing and then the next one up if that makes sense. They form a sort of triangle as you look at it.
Photo 4: This bolt I'm presuming holds the 2 halves of the cylinder head together.
Photo 5 : I also need the 2 screws/bolts? that hold the stator plate in.
Photo 6: This bolt goes trough the top of the cylinder head and holds the cam chain sprocket cover on. I could also do with a spark plug if you have one as the tread seems smaller than the CR7HS that goes in my 110 engine.
Whoops! just realised that as I'm writing this I've forgotten about the generator side casing bolts, so the one that is labelled Honda and would be on the chain case side of the bike.
I would also like to take that carb off your hands if that's ok with you. Drop us a PM and let me know what you think.
Many Thanks,
Jack

Re: C50LAC Engine Parts Wanted
I got plenty of engine bolts in the man cave. Not too sure about the 2 cam sprocket bolts though.
The only bolt you need to be careful with is the lower right hand flywheel cover bolt because if its too long it will damage the casing and cause an oil leak.
A CR7HS spark plug is the correct grade for your engine. Just buy one from the local bike shop or possibly Halfords if your local branch stocks bike bits

I missed your reply to this so didn't check while I was in the garage over the weekend, but I'll have a look tonight.

Hi
Mine only has the top left bolt as you look at your pic. ..
The other two are empty.
Let me know if that's okay

Hi.
The one at the top is not used on the lac engine as its the one that holds the clip for the neutral switch.
Clip is missing in this photo.
