Honda c90 1981 Kick start shaft or engine

Hello,

I have recently purchased a 1981 Honda c90 and looking to restore it to its former glory as someone has let lose with a spray can. Engine number starting c90e, kick start shaft was snapped off, I have the engine in bits at the moment and in need of a new kick start shaft.

Also recommendations on where to get full gasket and oil seal sets and whilst I have it in bits any other things (that aren't so obvious) that I should maybe look at doing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you seen this one on ebay? Being 6 volt they normally sell a lot cheaper than the 12v engines.

Problem is that its pick up in person. It may be possible that you will be able to send a courier to pick it up. Might be worth contacting the guy and make arrangements.
I normally get things like gaskets from M&P in Swansea. As for seals I get genuine Honda items which are not very expensive. Dont order parts for a pit bike engine as they wont fit. The engine is totally different.

I'm all ready the high bidder on that motor. Ok I'll have look for m and p. for the seals is that something I can get from a local honda dealer. As I was worried because of the age of the engine.

I have a bottom end with shaft on all gears work £20 if you want it? Located in codnor.

Yep but it may be expensive its very not light. I could have a go at getting the shaft out but I dont realy no what I am doing. That would save on postage? I would still want £20 for it as engine not much good with out it. let me no which you would prefer.

Chicken why not ask Hermes for a price, I find them very good and not expensive

+1 on this one. I used them to post a LAC engine to the irish republic. it only cost £25
